Breitling Navitimer 50th Anniversary Navitimer A41322
Breitling Navitimer 50th Anniversary Edition was made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Navitimer, with the two airplanes on the back cover and dial adds a nice accent. With a round case shape and a 42mm size, this Swiss-made watch showcases the iconic Breitling Navitimer model with a silver bracelet and a lug width of 22mm. The 4102 between the lugs @ 6 when the caseback is off suggest a production date being the 41st week of 2002. With it's stainless steel band it is a very comfortable watch to wear on a day to day basis, especially on a hot day since it breaths very well.
Breitling’s iconic pilot’s chronograph – for the journey. In 1952, Willy Breitling developed a wrist-worn chronograph with a circular slide rule that would allow pilots to perform all necessary flight calculations. Two years later, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) announced the design as its official timepiece. The “navigation timer” – or Navitimer – was born. It even made its way into space on the wrist of astronaut Scott Carpenter in 1962. In addition to the chronograph function, it also has an aviation slide rule, climb speed, fuel consumption, and mile/kilometer/nautical mile conversion, making it an item worthy of being called a wrist-mounted instrument. Worn by astronauts in space and the biggest stars on earth, it is Breitling’s most iconic timepiece and one of the most recognizable watches of all time.

This watch is in very good pre-owned condition. Please see photos for condition and understand that I use a powerful macro lens on a professional camera so please excuse any dust, smudges, reflections, or any other hard-to-avoid elements in the photos. These are valuable timepieces and should be shipped insured, well packaged, overnight, and with care. We ship fully insured thru a third party insurance company using FedEx overnight to any FedEx Office Ship Center for in person pick up in the continental USA.
